This site is a project of mine and has been since I learned of Nearlyfreespeech.net at DrupalCampWI. Hosting shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Nor should the host impede the process of creating something on the web. NFS has clearly outlined what you can and cannot do as a customer, as well as what they can and cannot do as a host. Since getting an account with them, I have used them as a staging platform for many sites I have in the works, as well as for my own website. It runs Drupal very well, with only one slight issue that I've run into... no cron. Instead of a traditional cron job, I use the module PoorMansCron. This seems to work very well. The theme was designed by me. I have gone through several iterations of custom themes and I still do not think I am done. I love to play around with CSS.
